The Azerbaijan Journal of Higher Education (AJHE) is an international, peer‑reviewed, open‑access academic journal dedicated to publishing rigorous research, policy analysis, and innovative practices in the field of higher education. The journal provides a global platform for scholars, educators, university administrators, policymakers, and practitioners to examine emerging issues, contemporary challenges, and transformative opportunities shaping higher education systems worldwide.

AJHE embraces a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach, recognizing that education is deeply interconnected with cultural, artistic, historical, economic, and geographical contexts. In addition to higher education studies, the journal welcomes scholarship that explores educational theory, didactics, visual arts education, folklore and heritage in education, historical and cultural perspectives, economic dimensions of education, and geographical or environmental influences on learning and access.

All articles are published in English to ensure international accessibility, discoverability, and compliance with global indexing standards. The journal follows a strict double‑blind peer‑review process and adheres to the COPE Core Practices, guaranteeing ethical publishing, editorial transparency, and academic integrity. AJHE operates on a diamond open‑access model and does not charge submission or publication fees.
