Paper Submission Standards
To maintain academic integrity and uphold global publishing standards, the AJHE requires all submissions to comply with the following editorial and ethical guidelines. Submissions that do not meet these criteria will be rejected without review.
1. Originality and Publication Status
All submitted manuscripts must be original works of the authors and:

Must not have been published previously in any journal, conference, or repository

Must not be under consideration or review by any other journal or publisher at the time of submission

Must clearly acknowledge and reference any reused or adapted material
Authors are responsible for ensuring the authenticity of their content and its exclusive submission to AJHE.
2. Plagiarism and Similarity Index
To uphold ethical standards:

All submissions will undergo a plagiarism check using standard software

Manuscripts with a similarity index above 20% will be automatically rejected
-
Self-plagiarism, unreferenced quotations, or copy-paste from previous works will not be tolerated
Authors may be asked to revise and resubmit in borderline cases, but repeated violations will result in blacklisting from future submissions.
3. Language of Submission

English is the only accepted language for submissions.

Manuscripts must be grammatically accurate and professionally written.

Poorly written manuscripts may be returned without review for language correction.
Authors may be advised to seek professional language editing services prior to submission if required.
4. Structural and Formatting Compliance
To ensure uniformity and readability:

Manuscripts must strictly follow the required structure:

Title (max 12 words)

Author(s) Details

Abstract (150–250 words)

Keywords (3–7 terms)

Introduction
-
Methodology
-
Results & Discussion
-
Conclusion
-
References (APA 7th or IEEE style)

File Formats: Only Word (.doc/.docx) or PDF files are accepted
-
Length: 6–12 pages including references
-
Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing

Margins: 2.5 cm (1 inch) on all sides
Submissions that do not follow this structure will be rejected without review.
5. Figures, Tables & Visual Elements

All images, charts, and graphs must be of high resolution (300 dpi or higher)

Each figure or table must include:

A clear and descriptive caption

Source citation if not original
-
Proper numbering and in-text reference (e.g., "See Figure 2")

Avoid low-quality, pixelated, or unlabelled visuals
6. Accepted Domains of Research
The journal welcomes high-quality, original submissions in a wide range of interdisciplinary fields, as detailed in the Aims & Scope section.

Authors are encouraged to align their topics with current global and regional challenges and consider multidisciplinary approaches.
