Current Issue
The publication of the first issue of AJHE on Azerbaijan’s Independence Day reflects the journal’s commitment to academic freedom, intellectual sovereignty, and the advancement of higher education as a cornerstone of national development. By aligning its initial issue with this historic date, AJHE emphasizes the intrinsic connection between independence, education, and the production of knowledge.
This issue brings together original and peer-reviewed scholarly contributions from researchers affiliated with higher education institutions, addressing contemporary challenges and developments in higher education, social sciences, and applied scientific research. Particular emphasis is placed on regional perspectives, international collaboration, and interdisciplinary approaches that contribute to the global academic discourse.
As the inaugural issue, Volume 1, Number 1 (2026) sets the foundation for AJHE’s mission to serve as an internationally oriented academic platform that promotes rigorous research, ethical scholarship, and the exchange of ideas within and beyond Azerbaijan.
